For other countries the importation tax exist and is so expansive, 60%!!!
It is a strange situation. Vauxhall is a UK only brand. There are no Opel dealers in UK.
The only differences between an Opel and a Vauxhall are the badges.
Import duty/tax for the UK is only about 17%
You may not be aware but 2 door Vauxhall Cavaliers were only available for one year (1982) and only with a 1.3 engine.
I only know of two of these cars and none are on the road.
